Marketing and Fundraising Committee
Committee Purpose
The Marketing/Fundraising Committee assists with increasing the operational and service capacity of CapitolRiver Council by:
• Raising funds from multiple sources,
• Supporting Board members with meeting organizational revenue goals,
• Helping committees achieve their goals
The purpose of the Marketing and Fundraising Committee is to identify ways to market and promote the services and resources of the CapitolRiver Council and its committees to citizens, local government and businesses of the downtown Saint Paul community and, to generally increase awareness of the CapitolRiver Council among these groups. The task force goals include clear identification of the constituencies served by the CapitolRiver Council and the strategies and tactics needed to reach those constituencies. Activites include:
- Community Outreach, through a newsletter, media relations, and website development
- Create and disburse a residential survey asking for quality of living ideas and interests in District 17. Use survey results to shape media relations.
- Create greater access and understanding to the CRC through our new website. http://www.capitolrivercouncil.org
